I LOVE YOU INSPITE OF...

What hurts most?

... When you can't fight for that one thing that would make you happy (^_^)...

"I may never be the guy you look forward to seeing everyday... But i will always be the guy who will look out for you each and every day... "

Love isn't when you can't sleep... it's when you want to keep your eyes open...

Love isn't when you keep holding on.. It's when you learn to let go..

Love isn't when you kill yourself with jealousy... It's when you understand...

Love isn't when you fall for someone... It's when you catch that person when she falls...

Love isn't when you see her everywhere... It's when you close your eyes and she is still there...

Love isn't when you tell her what you feel... It's when you give everything for her sake...

And Love isn't when you think you were blind... It's when you know she was wrong but YOU didn' mind!...

Andyan ka na naman... Nagpapalusot na naman...

Grabe talaga ang mga pinoy when it comes to looking for palusot aba ang daming naiisip agad...

Yesterday morning, i experienced such thing or should i say i encountered someone who's good at it...

I was really in a hurry yesterday going to work... My boardwork starts at 5 am but then i woke up at 4:45... Gosh, i only have 15 minutes to prepare myself... Taking a shower usually took me around 10-15 minutes... But that time, i decided not to splash and just be in a hurry just to catch the TOH...

Call it malas na siguro coz wala man lang ni isang Jeep ang dumadaan... I was really worried coz i know im gonna be late again sa aking boardwork... So i decided to take a walk and go somewhere near the Davao Medical Center (DMC)... Mahal kaya mag-taxi kaya sumakay na lang ako ng habal-habal (a kind of motorcycle taxi)P20.00 pesos lang naman ang bayad e...

We were passing through Cabaguio Avenue, sa unahan (infront of the Iglesia ni Cristo)may checkpoint. Pinara kami ng TF davao... I was shocked sa palusot ng driver ng habal-habal...

Early in the morning nakapag-sinungaling ako... Hahay!!!

Tsk! tsk! tsk! Grabe talaga ang pinoy...

Ikaw... ANO ANG MGA PALUSOT MO?

A GLIMPSE OF THE PARADISE CALLED CAMUDMOD

Across the Island you will see it’s white sand. People talk good things about the places they visit. Yeah yeah and more yeah… I heard too much already. I think it’s time for me to feel the comfort and taste the glory of the island called IGACOS.

Situated right in front of Sasa Wharf, is the IGACOS or the Island Garden City of Samal. And I’m sure you’ve heard about this place before. But, have you been there lately?

It’s been quite a long time that I’ve been wanting to go to Samal Island. I always wanted to visit those famous white sand beaches. I know that it’s going to be very hard for a regular employee like me to spend my getaway there, so I just took advantage of the company’s outing.

From the day I heard about going to Samal Island, I already made plans that I should/will make that visit one of the most memorable one. And here we go again… Excitement runs into my veins.

Honestly, I’ve never been to those beautiful white sandy beaches in Samal. The last visit I had in the island was during my College Days. We went to Paradise Island Beach Resort. The resort was great but not that superb during that time. (I don’t know how the resort looks now)

April 20 Sunday, the staff of Love Radio Davao were jampacked riding the station’s 4W truck. Girls were ready as always. It’s just like the good ol’ days. “Hmm, I remember what happened during our first visit to camiguin. All of us were so excited that we even bought things that would be needed in the beach. But all of us were so disappointed. Ah oh, flashing back bad memories.”

Anyway, going back to our visit to the island, it was really fun coz all of us were riding altogether. I guess we were the noisiest travelers that time. People were looking at us not because we were riding the stations 4W truck with the stations LOGO on it but because of our noise. We were making fun of each other. Geez, it’s always our team’s trademark.

The travel from the Davao port going to Samal Island port takes only around 15 minutes. Samal Island right now is a lot different from what I saw many years ago. The port has been developed. The road has been cemented. Big buildings are standing and establishments are slowly getting into the city.

You will see that the city has bloomed. Even better than the place where I was born (Pikit). Tourism flocked around Samal Island during summer. And it can’t be denied that tourism really helps this small island grow. Infrastructures were seen everywhere and resorts are lining up for you to choose from.

Of course, there is the world famous Pearl Farm Beach Resort. One of the most expensive resort in the Country. I’ve never been there actually, but I am still hoping that I’d be able to step into that white sand resort soon.

From the main port of Samal going to our destination (which is Camudmod) took us around 20 - 30 minutes to travel. Upon reaching our destination, nothing beats the feeling of solitude. It’s like the best place to relax. No one is around. The place is in Barangay Camudmod (one of the many barangays in Samal). The resort is facing Lasang Davao City.

It’s actually a private resort owned by my alma matter, the Holy Cross of Davao College.

It’s not really as beautiful as Pearl Farm or Paradise but it’s worth your money.

We had a great time at the beach. In fact, it was my first time to stay and swim for hours. I didn’t mind the scorching heat of the sun as long as I will enjoy, and I had.

Of course, there is always that bruhaha around but never ever minded them. All I care is… FUN! FUN! and more FUN!

The reason for this outing is to build a stronger relationship between each staff. A stronger team that no one can beat!!

It’s been a long time since we had our team building. And it’s great that the company has thought of this. It brings closeness and camaraderie between each of us.

And from what I saw, the staff really had a great time. I think gaps between us were bridged and it brings us even closer.

So watch out you guys for a stronger LOVE RADIO 90.7 DAVAO TEAM!

Til next island hopping! See yaround!!

Haay kalami kalami kalami..!!! hehehe..

FIrst time pa jud naku ni nga muadto likud sa Samal... I've been to paradise island pero dugay na to...

Daghan man unta nindut nga mga beaches here in davao, kaso super expensive... Di kaya sa budget...

My friends would usually ask me kung nakaadtu na ba daw ko sa Pearl Farm wa jud koy matubag kay wa pa man pud ko kaadtu... Sayunan kag DOLLARS, az in DOLYARES ang imuhang currency nga gamitun didto... Kalain kalain kalain...!!! (^_^)

Why oh why??? Nganu na-ingun ani na man ta?

But why are we always like this? Pag-abot sa pagkaun, daghan tang reklamo?? We cant even say THANK YOU, even for the small blessings nga gihatag sa ginoo kanatu...

I always go out and visit sa mga squatters area... As you try to look at them, they can't even clean sa ilahang balay... Some of them dont even know how to value every single or even the smallest thing nga naa sulod sa ilahang balay...

Sometimes, they dont even bother to buy food para sa ilahang pamilya... All they care about mao ang pagpalit ug sigarilyo, beer (tuba) or ang pagsugal lang...

Haaayyy maglabad akong ulo....

Saving even 10 pesos a day makatabang na kini arun dunay makuot kung dunay mga emergency...

This is the best time nga mutabang na pud ta para mupalambo pa ang atuang panginabuhi...

WHAT IS IRING IRING?

I was browsing the internet trying to find something that will tell or explain my friends abroad on what really "Iring-iring"is...

FOr those who arent familiar of the Iring, it means CAT in English.... A cat is traditionally both affectionate and non-demonstrative (except at feeding time at my house). Then iring-iring would be a closeness-with-reserve. Or a kittenish relationship, interdependent and giving without a likelihood of deeper exchange.

Here's what i got:

IRING-IRING: It’s close to flirting but without the sexual connotation. It shares shades of meaning with courting but is less formal and doesn’t mean that the person wants to go steady with the object of the iring-iring.

There's even a book about Iring-iring authored by Mr. Myke Obenieta that says "there isn't an equivalent English word for Iring-iring...

Mr. Obenieta has launched his book called "Iring-iring sa tingbitay sa iro" and it means "LOVE BUT NOT QUITE LOVE OR FLIRTING WITHOUT THE SEXUAL CONNOTATION DURING HARD TIMES".

And if you wanna join the discussion of the Irings, you can visit our chatroom... go to www.person.com... You just have to register and go to chatroom (our chatname is #Loveradio907)...

Or you can also visit our IRing-iring clan FORUM: http://iring-iring.clanteam.com

SIMPLE WAY OF PRAYING...

When I was a much younger Christian my prayers were all about asking God for this, that, and the other thing. I learned to make prayer lists and keep track of the answers I received. And I spent a lot of time reflecting on and analyzing my life to see if there was any unconfessed sin that might be preventing God from answering my prayers.

Today, I think differently about prayer. Notice that I didn't say I PRAY altogether differently. I still go to my heavenly Father when I need this, that, or the other thing. After all, He's my Abba Father and I'm His child and I believe He wants me to come to Him when I have needs. I still keep track of what I pray for people, events, ministry, my family, and our world. I still keep up with prayers that are answered and prayers that are not. And I definitely still pay attention to things in my life that need to be confessed. (I'm not so ignorant as to think I can be careless about sin and not have it affect my relationship with God.)

But as I have pursued my own journey in life, I have begun to think more simply about prayer. Now I try to listen at least as much as I speak. If I spend half-an-hour in prayer, I spend a good portion of that time in meditative prayer, or listening prayer, trying to be still before the Lord. As a younger Christian I often wore myself out verbally communicating my petitions (and grievances).

My growing understanding of the prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray (see Luke 11:1-4) has helped to mature me in my own prayer life. What I have found is that as I align my prayers with the principles Jesus set forth in His model prayer, my words are more focused and, hopefully, more in line with God's will.

Let me encourage you to read Luke 11:1-4 and learn from the Master how to pray.

Prayer is not a means of getting what we want from God but getting what God wants to be done here on earth.

Ang mga kabastusan ug kaseksihan

Whew!! The Philippine Edition of the world renowned PLAYBOY Magazine is out... Pero sa first day pa lang sa pag-release, duna nay daghang mga "Moralista" nga gustong pugngan ang circulation niini...

For sure, daghan jud ang malingaw niining mga ingun aning klaseng magazine and just like sa ubang mens magazine, titillating sab ang tema niini... And i dont need to elaborate more on the magazine itself coz im sure duna na moy mga ideas kung unsa jud ni siya..

Di na jud ikatingala nga when it comes to sexy magazines, siguradong mu-click jud ni siya...

SEXYness has conquered the films, tv, and magazine... And now, radio has its own style of giving it's audiences a sexy way of programming....

We have received a lot of offers and commercial spots kay tungod sa kakusog sa program... Even advertisers admits nga wa na pud silay mahimo but to put their advertisements sa Iring iring program kay kusog kini kaayo sa masa... Bastos, YES! Pero it has its unique way of giving it's listeners a funny and titillating entertainment...

Do you think we should continue this trend?

Give us your thoughts...

Most Unforgettable Moment

I was in grade 5, player sab ko ug baseball and volleyball sa amuang school... Intramurals that time...

Bwahahaha!! Haskang ulawa lagi hinuon naku...

Ikaw, unsa may kaagi nimu nga dili jud nimu makalimtan.??
